Brad Donabauer, DDS
Originally from central Minnesota, Dr. Brad has lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area since 1990. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. After practicing for a number of years in Crookston, MN, Dr. Brad moved his office to Moorhead in 2008. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association, and he's a past president of the Northwest District Dental Society. Dr. Brad has also taken additional coursework and classes for orthodontics, and he's a member of the Academy of General Orthodontics. He is also active in the community with Rotary.
Outside of the office, Dr. Brad and his wife, Suzi, have 3 adult boys. They enjoy going to the lake, spending time with family, traveling, and going to classic rock concerts...his favorite band is the Eagles.
Lexi Carpenter, DDS
Dr. Carpenter grew up in Argusville, ND, and graduated from Northern Cass High School before earning her bachelor’s degree from Mayville State University. Her passion for dentistry began in 6th grade and led her to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her DDS. Dr. Carpenter joined our office in the summer of 2025. Her goal is to create patient-centered care, building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their dental health. Dr. Carpenter is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the FM Rotary Club.
Outside of the office, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time at the lake, especially boating and water sports. She also loves baking, scrapbooking, pickleball, basketball, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Lexi and her husband, Brendon, are living in West Fargo and are excited to be back in the community they grew up in.
Melissa - Office Manager
Melissa has been a member of the Donabauer Family Dentistry team since 2008. Insurance specialist, patient coordinator, and office cheerleader are only a few hats that Melissa wears in our office. She graduated from Lakeland Dental with a degree in Dental Assisting and started her dental career in 1994. Helping patients achieve a healthy smile by assisting them with finances and scheduling is her favorite thing about her involvement at our office.
Originally from South Dakota, Melissa moved to North Dakota after high school to attend college, where she met her husband, Brett. She loves to spend her weekends with her husband, adult children, grandsons, and friends. Her favorite free-time activities are reading, boating at the lake, and cheering on the Bison!
Devon - Patient Coordinator
Devon joined Donabauer Family Dentistry in September 2023 as their patient coordinator. She enjoys working with patients and helping make each visit smooth and comfortable.
Outside of work, Devon loves spending time with her two dachshund puppies, doing arts and crafts, exploring antique shops, and staying active with pilates.
Kali - Registered Dental Hygienist
Kali joined the Donabauer Family Dentistry team in 2013. She graduated in 2012 from NDSCS in Wahpeton. Kali likes getting to know her patients and developing positive relationships. She has a gentle touch when providing cleanings and likes to help patients maintain a healthy smile. She is thankful to work with such a great group of co-workers.
Kali grew up on a farm near Barnesville and now lives near Rollag, MN. She and her husband have two children - a son, Warren, and a daughter, Vivian. Most of their time is spent chasing them around! Kali enjoys camping, going to the lake, fishing, and traveling when she can. She likes spending time with family and friends and helping her husband on the farm when needed.
Michele - Registered Dental Hygienist
Michele has been working as a dental hygienist for over 35 years. She grew up in Moorhead, and she currently lives with her husband in West Fargo. Michele and her husband have two daughters, one in Omaha and the other in Horace.
Most of Michele's free time is spent in the Park Rapids area. She always has a project in the works!
Ozzy - Registered Dental Hygienist
Ozzy grew up in Grafton, ND, where he graduated from high school and participated in track. He went on to attend NDSCS in Wahpeton before settling in Fargo, where he now lives with his wife, Ali, and their daughter, Camila. They also share their home with two cats and a dog, making for a lively household.
Outside of work, Ozzy enjoys staying active through CrossFit and running, and he loves spending time with family and friends - often over a sour beer and some board games at Junkyard Brewing. Ozzy chose dental hygiene as a career for all the cool science that's involved and because of how it impacts not only oral health, but overall health as well.
Travis - Registered Dental Hygienist
After growing up on a farm in NW North Dakota, Travis obtained a dental assisting degree from NDSCS in 1999. To further his education, he received a dental hygiene degree from Herzing College in 2003. Since then, he has worked in private practice, public health, and in a teaching setting.
Travis and his wife have one son and enjoy attending his wrestling tournaments. He also likes coffee, cooking, and having dinner with friends.
Brenda - Licensed Dental Assistant
Brenda joined Donabauer Family Dentistry in 2020 and is a 1990 graduate from NDSCS in Dental Assisting. She is also a life member of the American Dental Assistants Association. Brenda enjoys taking care of patients and making sure they have the best clinical care and results.
Brenda grew up in Wyndmere, ND, and now lives in Moorhead with her husband, Tyler. Between them, they have 5 adult children. Weekends are spent reading, spending time with family, friends, and FaceTiming with the grandson. Brenda enjoys watching the Vikings and the Bison.
Kaje - Licensed Dental Assistant
Kaje graduated from M State Moorhead in 2025 and joined Donabauer Family Dentistry right after graduation. Kaje's goal is to make every visit as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible for her patients.
Outside the dental office, Kaje enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Tracy - Licensed Dental Assistant
Tracy has been a dental assistant for 23 years and has spent all but a few months in the same building we're in today. Tracy grew up in Hawley, MN, and now lives in Argusville, ND with her husband, Rod, and their daughter Greta, who attends NDSU (Go Bison!), and their dog Bruno.
In her free time, Tracy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, going to concerts, and doing a little online shopping. She also likes to fish year-round, and she enjoys snowmobiling when and if the snow flies.
